FEBRUARY 2026

Unsurprisingly, February has flown by and we have been keeping ourselves busy with showcases, venue tenders and re-accreditations! We started strong with a dynamic evening inside a pickling jar, our Urban Fermentarium, where guests were invited to start a culture with us. We love to be inspired by pickling, preserving and fermenting and in our fast paced society it's lovely to celebrate a process that asks us to slow down.

We got romantic at St Alban's for Valentines day and hosted our first supperclub, against the mesmerising backdrop of the cathedral. As we started our journey with supperclubs, it feels extra special to be able to host these within some of our incredible venues now. We were also lucky enough to bring in the year of the horse at St Albans with a Chinese New Year celebration - we couldn’t resist marking the occasion!

We also squeezed in a company culture day with The Good Life Coaching, a fantastic opportunity to realign on our company values of Innovation, Passion, Community & Quality. I find this work to be super important, it really helps guide the ship during times of change and helps us stay true to what we are about.

I am also delighted to share that we've begun a recent sole partnership with Park Village, a neighbour venue for us and one that feels super aligned in Dinner Ladies values, as a fellow Bcorp. We can't wait to plan some exciting events here and will be challenging ourselves to bring innovation to this beautiful venue. It's where we are also hosting an event very close to our hearts for IWD - if you'd like to attend this please just let me know I'd love to see you there. It's a celebration of all the incredible women in our industry and because it's Bcorp month we want to chat all things events and sustainability too.

- Lily
